SHILLONG: After the bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government is recasting at the extra assistant commissioner level in Garo Hills.
A notification issued recently stated that Tangchiring K Sangma, extra assistant commissioner of South Garo Hills, has been transferred to North Garo Hills in the same capacity.
Selsella BDO and extra assistant commissioner in Tura Rueben Ch Momin has also been transferred as extra assistant commissioner of Baghmara.
According to a notification, the services of Jude Rangku T Sangma, extra assistant commissioner of North Garo Hills, is placed at the disposal of Community and Rural Development Block for appointment as BDO of Selsella.
Similarly, the services of Pittingson R Sangma, BDO Gambegre, are placed at the disposal of the Community and Rural Development Block for appointment as BDO of Demdema.
The notification also added that the services of Monoranjan R Marak, BDO Demdema, are placed at the disposal of the Community and Rural Development Block for appointment as BDO of Gambegre.
Recently the new government gave new responsibilities to two more DCs.
