Sngap Syiem College emerge champions

Mawkyrwat , Oct 7: Sngap Syiem College, located in Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District, emerged champions in the NEHU Inter College Cross Country Run 2023, held on Saturday, in Shillong.
The College emerged as the champions in the Men’s Category, accumulating an impressive total of 43 points out of a possible 46. Additionally, Sngap Syiem College achieved the position of Runners-up in the Women’s Category.
In the Men’s Category, Obanshan Nongrem secured the 1st position, earning 15 points.
Following closely, Wonderful Paliar claimed the 2nd position with 10 points, Stainingson Syiemlieh secured the 3rd position with 8 points, and Jelmison Ramsiej took the 4th position, earning 6 points.
In the Women’s Category, Graceful Marwein achieved the 3rd position, while Wanresful Jyrwa secured the 5th position, earning 8 and 3 points, respectively.
Furthermore, two students the college, Wolbestar Ramsiej and Ibandarisha Kharwanniang, who emerged as winners in the 2nd Sohra International Half Marathon 2023, held on September 30, 2023, will represent Meghalaya at the National level event scheduled to be held on October 8, 2023, in Goa.
Additionally, Sngap Syiem College continues to foster a culture of excellence in academics and extracurricular activities, providing a well-rounded educational experience for its students.
